Naomi Patton is a part of Weber Shandwick’s Social Impact practice, leading foundation, CSR and nonprofit account work and providing strategic counsel and support. Her journalism and communications career began at the Milwaukee Community Journal weekly newspaper and included stops at the Wisconsin State Journal and the Detroit Free Press.

A member of the Free Press team that earned the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for Local Reporting that forced former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick to resign, Naomi also served former Detroit Mayor Dave Bing’s press secretary before managing entertainment and corporate communications for Palace Sports & Entertainment properties (Detroit Pistons, The Palace of Auburn Hills, DTE Energy Music Theatre and Meadow Brook Music Festival). Naomi, a Maryland native, lives in Harlem.
